![]() You need to completely ignore anyone else and just go all-out against the trolls. Ignore them though: they can't do any damage to you, and the sappers are the bigger threat to the inner gate of the city.Īfter that, you've got trolls who want the inner gate, and they'll take it down in a matter of hits. They're joined by basic goblins, which are totally nothing to you now. Three waves as always, first the left, then the right, then both. Once all the enemies are killed from this wave, your turrets will be destroyed, and you'll be under assualt from goblin sappers. Once again, concentrate on the towers and only stop if you are forcibly dismounted ignore light shots to your back unless your health meter goes critical and you need to quaff a potion. Unlike the defensive battle at the Gate Chamber, enemy pressure will be powerful enough that you might want to keep a second player handy for revives. If playing with a second human, you can double-team the towers, but keep an eye on your teammate, whether he's AI- or human-controlled. Pick one side or the other and continue to knock them down. The third wave naturally has all four towers roll up. If you are forcibly dismounted (if an Uruk-hai or a human dual-wielding warrior smacks you hard enough), deal with the problem, then mount back up. Attack those towers with the crossbow, and ignore light hits to your back. Pressure will be a bit stronger here and you might let a couple through, but don't worry about it. Dismount from the right turret, remount the left turret, and repeat. Next, two siege towers will roll up o nthe left side of the walls. Your teammates should be dealing with them anyway, and remember that there is no friendly fire, so they should go down easily enough. Destroy both towers, then use the turret against any remaining enemies below. You want to concentrate on the towers otherwise because they'll keep spawning enemies until they're taken down. ![]() Go ahead and shoot the enemies who come out, but only if they're already in the line-of-fire to the towers. The left turret can't reach it, so mount the right turret and start blasting away. A couple Uruk-hai and a few archers will engage you, and you can kill them with standard tactics.Īfter that, two siege towers will roll up on the right side of the walls. Two crossbow turrets sit there, but for the first wave, they're unnecessary. To start, you'll be fighting on the platform that Beleram normally stood on.
